I learned more about the dried vegetables in this post. They are dried and then put into hot water. When they open up they are then stuffed with a variety of items, mostly rice and perhaps meat. They are called dolmas. The dolmas we know in the U.S. are the stuffed grape leaves.

  1. I’m intrigued! Do many people frequent the mosques or just at certain times and are others more or less frequented than others. RC

    • I replied, but it’s not here. I hear the Islamic prayers five times a day. Once or twice when I was near a mosque, I saw people walking in, so there are many people who are faithful to the call to prayer. But, like any religion, I imagine some are more faithful than others. I do know there are many faithful followers.

I hope this answers your question. I’ll be seeing you soon.
